Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil, June 24, 2019—(Co)Action Lab Editor-in-Chief and Founder Tracy A. Corley presented insights about transit-oriented development in Massachusetts at the Mobilize Fortaleza Summit in Fortaleza, Brazil on June 24. As one of the panelists for the session Urban Development That Connects People to Opportunities, Dr. Corley discussed how her work at MassINC catalyzes transformative transit-oriented development in Massachusetts' Gateway Cities recovering from post-industrial decline. Her work aims to resolve the spatial mismatch between Gateway cities and metro Boston by creating more equitable transit-oriented cities that provide better access and opportunity for residents in these vital urban hubs.
