(Co)Action Lab founder Dr. Tracy A. Corley thrives on creating economic opportunities and sustainable livelihoods for people in our world’s metropolitan regions. She envisions more inclusive local and regional policymaking that empowers people to live with autonomy and dignity in socioeconomically diverse and resilient communities. She leverages her expertise and training in economic development, business, architecture, law, and public policy to convene interdisciplinary experts and advocates for tackling economic and social challenges. Her interest in entrepreneurship, work-based training, vocational education, and creative strategies for addressing economic insecurity led to her doctoral research on informal work in Germany’s skilled trades and crafts sector. She is currently gathering U.S. entrepreneurship and apprenticeship solutions stories to complement her research findings from Germany.
